Das Projekt wurde 2023 abgeschlossen und die vorgegebenen Ziele erreicht: die Absicherung des Status UNESCO Global Geopark f\u00fcr weitere 4 Jahre, die Erstellung einer Brosch\u00fcre \u201cGeotope im Erz der Alpen UNESCO Global Geopark\u201c und die Erstellung einer Brosch\u00fcre \u201cB\u00f6den im Erz der Alpen UNESCO Global Geopark\u201c mit umfangreichen Informationen als Bildungsunterlagen zu verwenden. Der entsprechende Dank daf\u00fcr geb\u00fchrt der \u00d6sterreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und dem Nationalkomitee Geo\/Hydro Sciences.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"geo-projects-content\"><div class=\"geo-projects-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/geopark-erzderalpen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/20230724_135828-2-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/div> <\/div><\/div><div class=\"geo-projects-container\"><div class=\"geo-projects-content\"><div class=\"geo-projects-date\"><\/div><h2>Danube Transnational Programme<\/h2><p>Der Erz der Alpen UNESCO Global Geopark nimmt als \u201cAssociated Strategic Partner\u201d am \u201cDanube Transnational Programme\u201d teil. Bei diesem Projekt geht es darum den einizigartigen geowissenschaftlichen Wert der UNESCO Geoparks, die im Einzugsbereich der Donau liegen, durch nachhaltige touristische Entwicklung in Wert zu setzen. Besonderer Wert wird dabei auf die Einbeziehung der ans\u00e4ssigen Bev\u00f6lkerung gelegt, ein sogenannter \u201cbottom up approach\u201d, vor allem in der Geoprodukt-Strategie (GeoFood) Anwendung finden.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"geo-projects-content\"><div class=\"geo-projects-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/geopark-erzderalpen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/VEDA-News1.png\" alt=\"image\"><\/div> <\/div><\/div><div class=\"geo-projects-container\"><div class=\"geo-projects-content\"><div class=\"geo-projects-date\"><\/div><h2>ESS-Movemont Projekt<\/h2><p>ESS-program \u201cMoving mountains \u2013 landslides as geosystem services in Austrian Geoparks\u201d. Wo sind die Massenbewegungsgebiete im Geopark? Was sind die untr\u00fcgerischen Merkmale eines aktiven zw. fossilen Massenbewegungsgebietes? Ein Umweltbildungsprogramm mit dem Titel: \u201eGebirgsgefahren in Zeiten des Klimawandels\u201c soll daraus, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Universit\u00e4t Salzburg und der ZAMG (Zentralanstalt f\u00fcr Meteorologie und Geodynamik) entwickelt werden. Muren, Steinschlag und Rutschungen gelten als ein permanentes Risikopotential im Geopark. Gemeinsam mit der \u00f6sterreichischen UNESCO Kommission (\u00d6UK) und der \u00f6sterreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (\u00d6AW) wird ein Strategiepapier entwickelt, das zur Vorlage f\u00fcr Bund und L\u00e4nder bestimmt ist und die Stellung der Geoparke in \u00d6sterreich klar definiert. Neben den Geoparkgemeinden und Tourismusverb\u00e4nden soll dabei auch die Universit\u00e4t Salzburg \u2013 Fachbereich Geographie und Geologie \u2013 einen wesentlichen Beitrag leisten. Das Projekt soll 2021\/22 umgesetzt werden.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"geo-projects-content\"><div class=\"geo-projects-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/geopark-erzderalpen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Buchbergkichel-1024x768-1.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/div> <\/div><\/div><div class=\"geo-projects-container\"><div class=\"geo-projects-content\"><div class=\"geo-projects-date\"><\/div><h2>Verl\u00e4ngerung der Kooperationsvertr\u00e4ge mit den Geoparkpartnern Inselsberg \u2013 3 Gleichen in Th\u00fcringen und Porphyrland in Sachsen.<\/h2><p>Der gemeinsame Workshop in Bischofshofen zur Erstellung eines mittelfristigen Strategiepapiers sollte im Juni 2020 stattfinden. Coronabedingt wurde dieser auf Juni 2021 verschoben und soll nun im September 2021 stattfinden. Bildungsaspekt mit der Etablierung des Erz der Alpen UNESCO Global Geopark Besucherzentrum zu einer aktuellen Klimaplattform f\u00fcr die junge Generation. Durch Installationen und interaktive Stationen soll das Aufkl\u00e4ren und Umdenken im Handeln hinsichtlich Klimaschutz und Umweltschutz vorangetrieben werden. Indoor wurde das klimatische Szenario sch\u00fclergerecht, plakativ aufbereitet. The project was completed in 2023 and the specified objectives were achieved: securing the UNESCO Global Geopark status for a further 4 years, the creation of a brochure \"Geotopes in the Ore of the Alps UNESCO Global Geopark\" and the creation of a brochure \"Soils in the Ore of the Alps UNESCO Global Geopark\" with extensive information to be used as educational material. The aim of this project is to capitalise on the unique geoscientific value of the UNESCO Geoparks located in the Danube catchment area through sustainable tourism development. Together with the Austrian UNESCO Commission (\u00d6UK) and the Austrian Academy of Sciences (\u00d6AW), a strategy paper is being developed that is intended for submission to the federal and state governments and clearly defines the position of geoparks in Austria. Climate protection is environmental protection<\/h2><p>The project focuses on the awareness and education aspect with the establishment of the Erz der Alpen UNESCO Global Geopark Visitor Centre as an up-to-date climate platform for the younger generation. Installations and interactive stations are intended to raise awareness and encourage a rethink in terms of climate protection and environmental protection. Indoors, the climate scenario has been presented in a striking way that is suitable for pupils.
