Our co-operation partners
The Ore of the Alps UNESCO Global Geopark is a UNESCO Global Geopark alongside theSteirische Eisenwurzen UNESCO Global Geopark and the Karawanken UNESCO Global Geopark is currently the third UNESCO Geopark in Austria. The Carnic Alps are recognised as a national geopark led. The co-operation partners of the Ore of the Alps UNESCO Global Geoparks are the Inselsberg - Drei Gleichen UNESCO Global Geopark in Thuringia and the Porphyry Land National Geopark in Saxony, Germany and the Vestjylland UNESCO Global Geopark in Denmark.
A strategic partnership exists with the "Chiemgau Ice Age Landscape", in particular with the Natural History and Mammoth Museum in Siegsdorf / Bavaria and the University of Salzburg. All partners of the Ore of the Alps UNESCO Global Geopark are united by a cordial co-operation and the desire for long-term, good cooperation.
